The most efficient infrared heater in the world

The unique, ultra high efficiency supraSchwank 30 heater with an input of 88,500 Btuh has the same infrared output as a conventional radiant heater with 180,000 Btuh input.

The industry invariably uses the commonly accepted gas combustion efficiency to rate all its products. The supraSchwank leads the industry with a combustion efficiency of 96%. However, this figure does not relate to the effectiveness of a heater to convert gas input to infrared energy. Schwank rates its luminous heaters by measuring the actual infrared energy delivered to the working level.

The supraSchwank 30 patented heater design converts up to 81%* of the gas input into infrared energy which heats the working level to the desired comfort temperature. The temperature at the ceiling will seldom exceed that at the occupancy level. By comparison, conventional heaters produce ceiling temperatures up to 120°F.
