The most efficient infrared heater in the world

The combined intensity high efficiency primoSchwank 30 heater with an input of 113,000 Btuh has the same infrared output as a conventional radiant heater with 191,000 Btuh input.

The industry invariably uses the commonly accepted gas combustion efficiency to rate all its products. The primoSchwank has an extremely high combustion efficiency of 95%. However, this figure does not relate to the effectiveness of a heater to convert gas input to infrared energy. Schwank rates its luminous heaters by measuring the actual infrared energy delivered to the working level.

The primoSchwank patented heater design converts 67%* of the gas input into both high- and low-intensity infrared energy which heats the occupancy level to the desired comfort temperature. The temperature at the ceiling will seldom exceed that at the working level. By comparison, conventional heaters produce ceiling temperatures up to 120° F.
